“Stories are wild creatures…When you let them loose, who knows what havoc they might wreck?”    This amazing new production gets its “official” Illinois Premiere at West Chicago!  The story is of Conor O’Malley and his backyard monster.  He comes “walking” to visit Conor three times and tells him stories to help Conor and his family deal with their tragic situation.  Being hypersensitive and aware of the issues, all the characters must confront their feelings as they face the dire situations in this emotional drama.  A Monster Calls is based on the novel by Patrick Ness from an original idea by Shiobhan Dowd, devised by Sally Cookson, Adam Peck, and the Company.
